Author Passion

Ask what I am passionate about, and my answer will be - truth and integrity.  I hate compromise.  You might imagine that a thinker, writer and theologian isn’t going to be someone who is very practical, but in my case this would be wrong.  I love to design things - practical things - and have a wide range of DIY skills.  In this context integrity amounts to doing a good job; producing an outcome that works really well and looks and feels great.

When it comes to Christian faith, this has to be practical as well; if it doesn’t hold water, I mean, if it doesn’t ‘work’, then what’s the point?  Faith that doesn’t change anything is useless.  But for it to cause change it has to be based on reality - on truth - on a robust foundation; something far more substantial than mere religious ideas and practices.  Substantial faith has to be firmly founded on what God has to tell us through the New Testament, rather than merely upon what we might choose to think, or select as ‘believable’.

I love to explain things.  If you have an honest question about Christian faith, something to ask that really is important to you, then I hope you will find the answer you seek in my book.  If not, then please go to the Contact page and tell me what it is that you want to understand, and I will do my best to answer you.
